On the 23rd of October it was Italian Day. We had to dress up in Italian colours. In the morning we were given a piece of paper cut into the shape of Italy and had to cover cover it in Italian pictures that we collected in newspapers and magazines from home. I was partnered with Zac and we completely covered both sides of our piece of paper. After play lunch we went to our 1/2 Cincotta buddies and made pizzas with them for lunch. We also played an Italian game called Tombola. Tombola is like bingo except with Italian numbers. The last thing that we did with our buddies was we made paper windows. We had to colour in our windows and then on the inside we had to draw pictures related to a country that we would like to visit.
After lunch we watch a play about a boy called Mario who went to an Italian festival and played Scopa and did a lot of other Italian things. It was a really enjoyable day.
Please add some pictures Angus!
