On the 16th of August it was MAKE A DIFFERENCE day. If we donated a gold coin we were allowed to wear our pyjamas to school. In the morning we walked down to Lynden aged care with our 1/2 Cincotta buddies to sing some songs to the residents. At lunch time hot chocolates were being sold for fifty cents each if you brought a cup to school. The day was set up to raise money to charity. Each class had to say something that they would do to make a difference. Our class said we would do a free hug day. The day was organised by the school leaders and it was a very good idea.
